Engaging with children about reducing single-use plastic is one of our key activities. As a result of our work most of Dunfermline's primary schools are working on becoming 'Plastic-Free Schools'.
This is a fantastic pupil-led campaign that shows children that they can make a difference in the battle of reducing the amount of plastic getting into the environment.
Our ambition is that every primary school that feeds into a secondary school in Dunfermline becomes a 'Plastic-Free School'. In this way we have a good chance at changing Dunfermline's habits around single-use plastic usage.
