What's next for Plastic-Free Dunfermline?
New Membership Pack
Our brand new membership pack is not ready for existing and new members and contains 10 great hints and tips for reducing single-use plastic, a register of Plastic-Free Champion businesses to shop at in Dunfermline and discounts from some of those businesses.
We are delighted to announce that Dunfermline has been awarded Plastic Free Communities status by national charity, Surfers Against Sewage!
Dunfermline receives this award in recognition of the commitment of local businesses, schools, community groups, organisations and people to reduce their unnecessary single-use plastic, and Dunfermline becomes the sixth and largest (by population) community in Scotland to do so.
We thank all these people who have helped us on this journey and those who work so hard every day to eliminate whatever single-use plastic they can – this award is for you!!!
Litter Pickers
Here are the newest members of the PFD team - ten litter pickers. We are lending them anyone who want to use them for the remainder of the lockdown. All we ask that you post photos of your pickings on our facebook page.
