      • Chocolate Chip Cookies!

        This recipe is the best.

It tastes scrummy and is egg free which means licking the bowl is totally ok, plus it's very versatile too.

        Ingredients
        • 100g butter or margarine (Unfortunately there's no plastic-free package for this but there are many creative ways you can reuse the box)

        • 100g sugar - castor or light soft brown work best

        • 2 tablespoons of golden syrup, maple syrup or honey (You can buy honey in a jar that can be recycled or reused.)

        • 150g self raising flour

        • 80g choc chips (To make it plastic-free you can buy a bar of paper packaged chocolate that you cut up.)  This can be replaced with loads of other things -raisins, oats, grated apple & cinnamon...)

        1. Mix butter or margarine with sugar
        2. Add two tablespoons of golden syrup, maple syrup or honey
        3. Mix in self raising flour
        4. Stir in choc chips, raisins, oats, grated apple & cinnamon, or anything you like!
        5. Roll in to small, bouncy ball sized balls and pop them on a greased baking tray
        6. Bake for 12-15 mins at 180C.

The cookies will still be soft when you take them out the oven.

Leave for 5-10 minutes to cool and firm up if you can.

        Enjoy!
